04.15.08 sprng cruisses

Home from an awesome spring cruise. This season's Cartune Xprez tour held some secret surprises including hot drum jams with the Boredom's Senju Muneomi in Brooklyn, one-night Wham City video party energy in Baltimore, Lucky Dragons double headers between Scarey Studios and the Hirshhorn Museum, and Pittsburgh style dance parties in Braddock. With non-stop cartoon celebrations and everlasting travel action for a week, life has returned to its woodland calm amidst wild human-sized animal creatures and castle-sized boulders.
This coming month brings a west coast return of our 3D storytelling with a big top festival at On The Boards in Seattle. Check all the northwest dance-makers busting it out for the Northwest New Works fest. Afterwards, nothing but river-dipping and summer camp styles before an entire autumn is swallowed by our upcoming North American tour. This life in the future, we are bracing ourselves already.

April Inspirations:
Taras Hrabowsky - People Tornado.
MYST- Tacky trips through a foggy fantasy.
Taffy Monster - Raggedy adventurers run into trouble.

The Cartune Xprez DVD is currently available online for $15. Limited pressing of 1000.

So I'm sure that you guys never here this but i was one of the people that talked to you at pdx pop. I can't wait for the T.B.A performance. It's on my birthday, so I'm going as a present to me. To be serious though i was wondering what you use to do your animation, because I've been using flash and it's turning out to be an epic failure. Anywho, just to wrap up a really long comment, the short version, is that a i can't wait to see you at T.B.a

Wow! Thank you so much for coming up to Pender Island for the Islands Fold One Year Anniversary. We had such an amazing response from people, about how much they enjoyed your performance. You are making art that is in a league of it's own. People are responding to it with virgin eyes and fun in their hearts. Big thanks!

I see my friend Karl wrote a lil something about Pat. It should be stated that Pat is a child of the 90s, and I really hope he does animate those stencils because it would be genius. But what I really came here to say is THANK GOD I bought your DVD, I didn't realize Marc Bell helped with one of the animations and when I found that out it just made the whole DVD that much better. I hope you're enjoying the cold weather. It's snowing here right now

Dear Hooliganship,
Ever since my buddy, Pat, saw your DVD, he's been quite literally mad about animating the stencil art that we collaborate on. Thanks for the inspiration! If we come up with something good, We'll send it your way.
